I'1000 against burning books.
People should have admission to any book they want. I'm just not sure what people would apply this book for? I hope they rip out the pages and blow their noses or wipe their private parts because - to be honest - it's sorry to see paper wasted similar this, and then at least they're putting it to good employ in the cease.
P.S.: Toilet paper has a ameliorate plot though AND isn't sexist so if you consider buying this or toilet paper always exist safe and choose the latter.

Similar many, Fifty Shades Darker is my favorite volume in the trilogy. Considering of this, I was nervous about reading this book. There are sure scenes I needed in Christian's POV, merely they had to exist done just right to satisfy me. I loved beingness in Christian'southward caput, but information technology did experience a lot similar reading the original over again. Not that it's a bad thing, I adore the original. Similar many, 50 Shades Darker is my favorite book in the trilogy. Because of this, I was nervous near reading this book. There are certain scenes I needed in Christian's POV, but they had to be done just right to satisfy me. I loved being in Christian's head, just it did feel a lot like reading the original again. Non that it's a bad matter, I adore the original. I just wish nosotros got a few new scenes from Christian'southward POV. I remember that would have made this that much better! Overall, I very much enjoyed listening to the audio book of Darker. Zachary Webber does a fantastic job bringing Christian to life. If you enjoy audio books, this is one I would highly recommend!

I do non wish to write a review.
I just want to point out three things:
one. Y'all never insult other readers/reviewers who like/love/adore a book/serial that yous hate. Delight.
2. If you don't like the kickoff book in the series and give a rating of 1 star, you don't take to read the second book in the series. Not much will modify. And then, plainly you lot volition give 1 star again.
And if y'all don't like the second volume in the series, you actually

I just desire to bespeak out three things:
1. You lot never insult other readers/reviewers who like/love/adore a book/series that you hate. Please.
2. If you don't similar the first book in the series and give a rating of ane star, you don't have to read the second book in the series. Non much will change. So, manifestly you will give i star again.
And if you don't like the second volume in the serial, you really don't take to read the 3rd book in the series. There is no signal. Yous only torture yourself.
And if you don't like the tertiary book in the serial, for heaven's sake, don't read the forth book in the series.
And if you still read the along book in the series (why???), you lot still do not have to read the fifth volume in the series. Nobody will force you. Nobody volition blame yous. You are free not to read it. Honestly.
Which brings me to my 3rd point.
iii. If you haven't read the above mentioned books; you lot seriously do not take to rate them and/or fifty-fifty review them.
This series has opened a new globe to me. And I believe I am sensible plenty to understand
-What is right and what is wrong
-What is wrong and what is nether particular standards
-What is reality and what is over the top fiction
Cheers!

I'm and then disappointed that I didn't terminate upwardly loving this book.
I have to be honest, I skimmed through virtually of it. Christian was too much of a sap and drastic for Ana's affections. Actually, the both of them with the same insecurities became monotonous. Christian was constantly agape that Ana was going to get out him over again and Ana was afraid she wasn't enough to keep him satisfied. I knew this from the original series just it seemed to be magnified in "DARKER".

I'yard so disappointed that I didn't end up loving this volume.
I have to be honest, I skimmed through almost of information technology. Christian was also much of a sap and desperate for Ana's affections. Really, the both of them with the same insecurities became monotonous. Christian was constantly afraid that Ana was going to leave him again and Ana was afraid she wasn't enough to go along him satisfied. I knew this from the original series but it seemed to be magnified in "DARKER".
There were a couple of things I did like.
I liked that we got to see what happened to Ros and Christian after Charlie Tango crashed.
Besides that we got to come across how Christian handled Leila after she threatened Ana in her apartment.
I will always love the FSOG series and Christian was my first dearest.
I call up it's probably best if a tertiary book comes out that I stay away because I don't want my beloved to be ruined past his POV.

Besides, how deep down, Christian really was a very insecure man who deep down simply felt unloveable.
The large question is...Am I glad that I read it?! I have to say that I am...mainly because I did forget a lot of the little details...on the whole though, my rating ended upwards being less from when I originally read 50 Shades. I remember it is because later Fifty Shades has been out for awhile, there have been a lot of amazing books that have come after these...and I can't in proficient conscience compare this to some of the others. I found in that location were a lot of times where I was bored...and the sex scenes were just ok to me. In the past few years, I have read some books that have extremely passionate sex....I only didn't get butterflies this fourth dimension from Christian and Ana...
Please don't get me wrong though. I still admire Christian Grey...and I am eager to read the next instalment whenever it does come out! Oh, and I am DYING to sentinel the movie in Feb! And so...yes...this trilogy nonetheless affects me...merely not well-nigh equally much every bit when it very commencement came out!!!

OK, what to say?
I love Fifty Shades. I've loved it since I read information technology in 2012. I didn't read the fanfic - I detest fanfics. ☺
I loved the first book in Christian's POV and I loved this one, but non as much.

Darker is my favorite of all three books, but Christian was and then mushy in his book. And then non-dominant, non-manly, not-CEO-ish. Not all the fourth dimension, simply he generally was. His only idea throughout the book was his fear that Ana would exit him. And I know that he's so horribly scared of that, only it made the book so meh.
Only - I still loved it and everything in it. I loved the Charlie Tango crash scene and the moment he came dorsum dwelling to find his whole family at that place.
I loved to finally see what happened with Leila in the bathroom. After the lemon martini with his mom. With Elana in the niggling $.25 from the past. So many great moments nosotros now know from his POV. But I too missed then much. I wanted SO much more Dr. Flynn. Where was he???
I wanted more from the by - Elena, petty Christian, maybe a bit from school or something similar that.
I loved the volume, but I would've loved it so much more with a scrap more than in it. It was a huge book - but I still wanted more. I volition ever want more with CG. ☺
And at present ... I copied something from my review for CG's first volume #Grayness - because the same affair still applies in his second book - possibly even worse!!! No crime intended, simply information technology has to exist said:
What I hated - and what I already hated in the starting time 3 books - I wish that a talented US AMERICAN editor would've looked over the manuscript before it got published :/ In that location are soooooo effing many British words and expressions in there - Christian wouldn't say them - or think them. Maybe if he were a seventy year onetime professor from Oxford.
I don't fifty-fifty know why that bothers me and then much... merely it does! I know that EL James is British...only Christian is a YOUNG American guy, living in America, then he should talk and think American. Information technology happens a lot with British authors who create an American globe. Why non stay in England with your stories if yous tin can't lose the accent? I know it won't probably bother anyone, but it's a real hard-limit for me. ☺ I know - I'yard weird - sue me. ☺☺☺
Simply equally I said before, I nevertheless loved the volume - VERY MUCH. And I can't expect to read FREED in Christian'southward POV! Hurry Erika!

I accept read, watched and now listened to this series. I surprisingly didn't mind reading Grayness fifty-fifty though information technology was a story retold. I was curious about Christian'south relationship with Eleanor and what makes him defend, befriend and provide for a child abuser. The narrator helped me become through…I take read, watched and now listened to this series. I surprisingly didn't mind reading Grey even though it was a story retold. I was curious about Christian's relationship with Eleanor and what makes him defend, befriend and provide for a kid abuser. I found some questions were answered but there were things that I was still curious virtually. When Darker was released, I wasn't jumping for joy and rushing to buy it. The price cistron put me off. I was besides concerned that my beloved of the second movie would be diminished because of this book. I really liked the second moving picture and didn't want the experienced tainted.
And then, my reading experience was a *Wow, kinky stuff is going mainstream?!?!* The movie experience was *Wow, I didn't demand the dark glasses and baseball game cap subsequently all!* My listening feel was *Wow, how does a bloke exercise this (reading out loud) without busting a gut laughing*.
Give thanks goodness Zachary Webber didn't bosom a gut laughing. He was extremely professional person and fabricated listening, a pleasure.
What I find difficult is connecting all 3 experiences. Ana'south version shows a timid and shy girl who is WAY out of her depth, with Christian as an egotistical control freak. The movie shows Ana as having more backbone and sass than the books. Christian also comes beyond in the movies as more quieter and reserved. Speaking only when he needs to…actions speak louder than words. Unfortunately, Darker (I won't say the audio because it was the story and not the narration) gave us a Christian Grey that was WEAK, cocky-loathing and completely lacking in confidence. Every bloody time he starts with the *…she'southward going to get out* I wanted to throw something. A couple of times, sure. Every five minutes, though? Torture!!
For the start time in whatsoever of my reading, watching and listening experiences, I actually idea *Geez, Christian, talk well-nigh double standards*. (view spoiler)[He friggin gives Leila a bathroom?!?! Holy Bloody Hell!! AND HE DOESN'T Fifty-fifty TELL ANA Because HE KNOWS It Volition Brand HER CRANKY!! Gee whiz, what a friggin surprise… (hibernate spoiler)] His controlling ways were something that I accustomed as part of his "charm" simply to blatantly have one rule for him and i for Ana drove me bonkers. He didn't seem to take Ana's feelings into consideration at all which made me angry. For the first fourth dimension EVER I was disgusted with information technology all. I nearly gave up. I was and so incensed, I even thought of forgoing the last movie. I was THAT disgusted and overwhelmed with loathing.
I gained a piffling satisfaction when Grace found out the truth nigh Eleanor and whooped her arse for information technology. Fifty-fifty knowing the outcome and what would play out, I couldn't help wishing for Grace to (view spoiler)[phone call the cops and accept her charged. Information technology even so peeves me that she got away with sexual, mental and physical abuse. I never understood why Grace didn't act on (whatsoever decent mother's) instinct, and make Eleanor suffer for her crimes? (hide spoiler)]
I finished it and it was Merely thanks to Zachary Weber. If I had read it, I probably would take DNF'd information technology.
There will probably exist a few people who will be questioning why it took me and then long to admit Christian is a jerk. The movie really doesn't portray the "real" Christian if Darker is the "real" Christian. The alternate POV has opened my eyes to a few things and fabricated me question how I could take liked FSOG at all. It was the falseness of his love that pushed me over the border. He was all *I will do annihilation for y'all Ana*. In reality, they were simply words. He actually didn't take her feelings into account and hardly considered how he would react if the situation was reversed.
I volition non be going on if Due east.L. James brings out an alternate POV for Freed. Christian, you're a douchewaffle, and in that location'south no coming back from there.

Darker is a book that should've accept been written in my opinion. I get that it'southward Christian'south POV just I already hated the books from Anna'due south POV.. so why would I really demand to reread the aforementioned book from the guy? this whole situation could've been fixed if the books were originally dual POV... simply I didn't write them.
Now I will admit that Christina's POV is better than Anna's just that's simply considering the guy doesn't constantly whine or feel insecure. However, that doesn't mean it was astonishing. Sorry guys.. it simply wasn't. I'm however kind of shocked that I dove into this volume/series.
Overall, information technology was meh. I still don't similar Anna and Christian. They deed like footling bitches sometimes and I just can't go behind their human relationship. I seriously hope that this is the last book, ever.

And that'due south that, the cease of the L Shades journey (unless of course James writes united states of america some more, i'm begging for a prequel on Elena and Christian if she's taking requests. BDSM is far more fun with willing participants rather than cry babies who sleep a lot).I enjoyed Christian'south perspective much more than than Anastasia's although all the gushing on how much he loves her did grate with me. She's a child who literally can not be depended on to accept her contraceptive pill, she sleeps way besides much and in terms of life feel and treatment people with trauma she has a long style to get.
I really enjoyed the sub plot of Leila and how Christian handled her. The scene with him blow drying her hair i found really touching and intimate.
After reading Christian'due south side of the story with him, Elena and Leila I really felt the mental disease baseline of the plot and the different means the characters responded to that. Its no surprise that Anastasia failed on all counts.
Fabulous sex activity scenes as usual both inside and outside the crimson room of pain. Really enjoyed seeing more of the supporting characters, Taylor and Ros to name a few.
Overall a iv star series for me.

Understanding what Christian thought and suffered through gives then much more than pregnant to the 50 Shades serial. E. L. James brings usa into the mind of Mr. Grey, lets u.s. feel his emotions and showed u.s. merely how insecure this human being of control actually is.
Equally Darker mimics Fifty Shades Darker, we find out just how desperate he was to get his Ana back and what he would do to keep her by his side. His emotions flow off the pages as he lets usa see the innerworkings of his listen and his heart. He loved her,

Understanding what Christian thought and suffered through gives so much more meaning to the Fifty Shades series. Due east. 50. James brings us into the mind of Mr. Grayness, lets us feel his emotions and showed us just how insecure this human of command actually is.
As Darker mimics Fifty Shades Darker, we observe out merely how drastic he was to become his Ana back and what he would practise to keep her by his side. His emotions menstruum off the pages every bit he lets us see the innerworkings of his mind and his heart. He loved her, even though the words stuck in his throat. He supported her even though it looked similar he was dominating her. He was proud of her even though he didn't know how to tell her. He was the happiest he ever was in his life and didn't know how to show that emotion without sounding sappy. Just, when he finally opens up, as his past comes back to haunt him and Ana doesn't run, he knows, without a dubiety, that she needs to be standing by his side for the rest of his life. Now, it'due south fourth dimension to put his by behind him and build to the future.
We know Anastasia's story … where information technology goes, how it ends. Now, nosotros are seeing the other side of the story. We had Ana'due south angst as she tried to figure out if she was plenty for him, if she could please him and now, in that location's Christian and him trying to convince her the vanilla life is enough for him for the rest of his life.
While I am reading, I unremarkably have music playing in the background. The story carries me into another world and the music relaxes me. Commonly I'll take a country music station on and information technology was no dissimilar while I was reading Darker. So, in the middle of the story a song came on that was Christian through and through. Not sure if Sam Hunt had Christian in heed when he wrote it or if William Michael Morgan knew that his song would remind me of how Christian felt … simply … Ms. Steele, this ane is for you.
I Met a Girl
She don't laugh at everything just when she does the planet swings around her
She don't footstep on sidewalks seams, her teenage boyfriends all nonetheless dream nearly her
She don't need the glitter of the Vegas' lights,
She blow a kiss and leave it spinning' like a tilt-a-whirl
I met a daughter
She fabricated me smile, she fabricated me wait
She crossed the street, she crossed my centre
She fixed her dress, she chip her lip, she let me up
I met a daughter with crazy shoes and baby blues
The way she moves is changing my whole world
I met a girl
The sunshine waits for her to wake up, she's a pony tail no make-up Saturday
'Cause she don't need umbrellas in the summer rain, she could catch the centre of a hurricane
In blue jeans and pearls
I met a girl
She made me grinning, she made me look
She crossed the street, she crossed my middle
She fixed her dress, she scrap her lip, she allow me upwardly
I met a daughter with crazy shoes and infant dejection
The way she moves is changing my whole globe
She turned around and it felt like the world turned upside downwardly
And the but thing I could say was "hey", and I'm so glad she didn't walk abroad
She dances like nobody sees her, I can't believe I get to be hither in her earth
I met a girl
She made me smile, she made me await
She crossed the street, she crossed my middle
She fixed her wearing apparel, she bit her lip, she let me upward
I met a girl with crazy shoes and baby blues
The manner she moves is changing my whole world
I met a girl
I met a girl
I promise you lot enjoyed reading the lyrics to I Met A Girl. To me, it epitomizes Christian'south feelings for Ana, even though he has such a difficult fourth dimension telling her or convincing her that he's willing to live a "Vanilla" life with her – she tames the beast without the cane or whip. But, I would be remiss if I didn't point out that Darker was E.50. James' best work nonetheless. The story flowed off the pages and you lot could feel what Christian was feeling … information technology was so well written, precise and emotional. I tried, so very hard, to parallel this story to Twilight – I tin can't! The Fifty Shades Saga stands on its own with characters that are totally unlike (except for Ana biting her lip) and manner more complex than Edward and Bella. I am so happy that I am being given the honor to review this exceptional story and I am really looking forward to Christian's thoughts and feelings in Freed.
